Wireless Network Monitor – promiscuous mode
Promiscuous mode is a mode of receiving devices specific network technology, such as wireless network cards. It is normally used for bridge packet sniffing and network hardware for virtualization. Executives to understand the direction MAC (Media Access Control) address of the computer.

Another method of use is to detect network connectivity issues. Some programs use this function to show everything that is transferred over the network and some may transfer data and passwords in clear text. Thus, a normal user should stay away from this mode to prevent anyone from stealing the data during the transfer process.
As you can see the promiscuous mode to be used by experienced users in order to avoid damaging the system or to open the door to hackers. But when you know what you are doing this method is very powerful and can repair the network without any problems.
Of course, not all card drivers Wireless supports this mode, because this is not a secure way. If you need this way, you should be aware of another driver that supports promiscuous mode. You can contact the manufacturer of your device and get a new driver.
