It is a 60 grain soft point made by Black Hills Ammunition good for hunting deer with a 0223?

Yes, you to know that 223 is too small for deer hunting as it is, but if you live in a state that allows the use of that nonsense, at least use the correct ball, and ISN "T a smooth point standard, but charged for the Black Hills. I personally find the use of 223 of the deer as "bum hunting", which is insufficient to energies well and has a low penetration and terminal performance. With nearly 40 years of research personnel and the deer and elk hunt all my friends (and some work in jobs or DNR F & G) None of us use or condone the use of a sub-standard round for hunting deer. My 30-06 has more energy at 400 meters from 223 to 100 meters. My 12 years old take 60 photographs of 95 243 beads in a circle of 4 inches at 100 yards, and even shot my 30-06, is 5 feet and 100 pounds, unless you can not handle the recoil a deer gun can result in adequate, then you should not hunt deer.
