Which has a longer lasting battery, the iphone or the ipod?
I have an ipod touch and I am not too impressed with it’s life battery. I am thinking of getting an iphone and jailbreaking just to use it exactly like the ipod touch (for its itunes, wifi and applications and without any contract with AT&T). I am assuming that it’s battery lasts longer?
I need a longer battery life cause I travel a lot and I can’t travel without listening to my favorite audios.
With all the cellular data access turned off, the iPhone should get longer battery life- I do know that’s one of the reasons it’s thicker than the iPod Touch is its battery.
But that’s a very expensive solution to the problem, and probably won’t get you quite the extra run time you want. A much more cost-effective solution would be to get an external battery pack which can easily double the iPod Touch’s battery life- they run $30-100 on places like Amazon.
