how to download pictures from digimax D53 samsung camera to personal computer?
i need information on how to run all opperations with my digimax D53 samsung camera.it was a gift from a friend and i did not recieve any books on how to run the camera.may have lost irreplaceable pictures of newborn granddaughter and newborn premmie daughter.finally,bought kodak rechargeable ni-mh batteries for it.

i would first suggest that you upload the photos from your memory card to your computer first. there are two ways to do this :
- if you have a card reader, plug your memory card to this card reader (which should be connected to the usb port of your computer), and you would see this appear as an removable drive on your computer, from which you can copy the files off your card first.
- if you do not have a card reader, connect your camera to the computer using a usb cable. your camera should be come with one such cable, where you connect one end to the camera and the other end to the usb slot of your computer.
i tried to look for reviews of this make and model but it is surprisingly hard to even find one. i only managed to find out the following specs of this camera :

hope the others have better luck helping you out with this. but from personal experience, most compact cameras have relatively standard menus and functions, so if you are adventurous, do experiment it and you should find out how to use most of the functions in no time. otherwise, you can consult any of your camera savvy friends and see if they can give you a helping hand.
