- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Powder 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 8 oz bottle mild taco sauce 12 oz or a jar of chili sauce or ketchup
- 1 jar of grape jelly (about 8 oz)
- 1 1 / 2 c. tablespoon Dijon or prepared mustard
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, onion, milk, garlic and chile powder, mix well. Form 45 1-inch balls.
- In a skillet big, warm over medium-high heat until oil is burning, about 1 minute. Add meatballs. Brown on all sides.
- In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Increase meatballs. Mix gently to coat meatballs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, until meatballs are made by all sides.
- You can put in a saucepan and simmer until ready to serve.
